SUNDAY ON THE SQUARE

First band on from 1.00pm, and we’re going all the way through ’til 11.00pm!

‘From The Jam’, will join ‘Buzzcocks’ and ‘Space’ in headlining ‘Sunday on the Square’.

Also confirmed to perform: Evil Blizzard, Hauspoints, The Amber List and Anhedonia; plus a host of epic regional bands including, Head Feeder, Ginnel, Beach Mountain, and Capital Riot.

The legendary Jam created a legacy that cements them as one of the all-time great British bands. The classic lineup consisted of Paul Weller, Rick Buckler and Bruce Foxton, who carried on their legacy by forming ‘From The Jam’, with Buckler.

Liverpool-based ‘Space’, are a multi-platinum selling band famed for their quirky, uplifting indie-pop tunes, including ‘Female of the Species’, ‘Neighbourhood’, and ‘Avenging Angels’.

The iconic ‘Buzzcocks’, formed in Bolton by singer-songwriter-guitarist Pete Shelley and Howard Devoto, were one of the most influential bands to emerge in the initial wave of British punk rock. With their crisp melodies, and driving guitars, Buzzcocks are still one of the most influential and crowd-pleasing bands in British punk rock.

Preston’s ‘Evil Blizzard’ are truly an enigma – four bass players, and a singing drummer, make for the most charismatic live experience on the music scene today! The band delve into many musical wells, mixing their musical heritage from early Sabbath, Dub & Krautrock through to more modern and diverse contemporaries!

No tributes; all the real deal!
